Moving away from Twitter
Or at least trying to
I started this Substack last spring as place to explore some ideas about imperialism and climate change, and that theme will certainly crop up here. But I’m now going to see how well I can cover the news as I once did on my blog H5N1, and as I’ve been doing (very superficially) on Twitter since the onset of COVID-19.
So don’t expect a daily flood of headlines; I’ll try to find a few stories every day that I think you should be aware of, and add some comment of my own. I may also re-post some of my Tyee articles (and maybe items I wrote much earlier). Your comments are also welcome.

I've always enjoyed your articles going back many, many years. I hope you also consider posting some of your thoughts on education and share some of your insights on B.C. history and how it might relate to current events. Who needs the media when people like you are writing on Substack? Heh heh.
